At Autism Awareness Through Sport, we pare Thrilled to announce a sporting Dinner With Warren Gatland on 9th May 2025.
For the 2009 tour of South Africa, Gatland was named as an assistant coach, specialising as the forwards coach under Sir Ian McGeechan.
In March 2012, in the wake of his second Six Nations Grand Slam with Wales, he was interviewed for the position of head coach for the Lions' 2013 Tour to Australia ,[before being appointed in September that year. The Lions won the test series against Australia 2–1..
in September 2016, Gatland was announced as head coach for the 2017 Tour to to New Zealand. Gatland was heavily criticised before and during the tour, especially after he called up 6 players to the squad on 17 June including being depicted as a clown in the New Zealand media after he continued to complain about "foul" tactics of the All Blacks before Eventually the series becoming the first drawn series since their 1955 Tour To South Africa
In 2019 Gatland was once again named head coach of the British and Irish Lions ahead of their 2021 Tour of South - South Africa won the series by two games to one

We held our first non sporting event, a casino night at the earl of Doncaster on the 30th March 2024. the guests we welcomed with a drink of their choosing and the night started off with the amazing show Girls provided by VM Entertainment to meet and greet all of our guests.
The formal festivities were officially kicked off with an welcome speech from Jak Parkes who put everything into the night.
The first of our fantastic speakers Angus Baskerville, who shocked all the room and even had some guests in tears with his story and the magic on the other hand was insane finishing off with an unbelievable magic trick to the full room leaving everyone speechless.
following our starter our comedian Joe Zalias had the whole room in laughter with his funny stories and jokes galore
More Food, wine and festivities before hearing from our two amazing rugby speakers Vicky Macqueen and Russell Earnshaw who were superb in a Q and A session with Lincoln Noel the master of ceremony who can only be described as a one of a kind Maestro.
The night was finished with casino tables, where we had a roulette table as well as black jack. A big congratulations goes to the winner of the casino tables jak and Joanna parks.
All in all the night was a success. A big thanks goes to all our guests, guest speakers and not forgetting the staff of the earl of Doncaster. This night wouldn't of been possible with out the hard work that Mark Dunkley and jak parks as well as the guys of the Autism Awareness Through Sport team to put this night on.. Thank you all once again to all those who attended.
